Kerem from TurkeyFirst i must say this song is one of the greatest songs of all time but i realized something some lyrics and the way David sings sounds a lot like across the universe by The Beatles.I realized this while i’m singing along the across the universe and when on the third verse i accidentally started with “cloudless everyday.” and i compared them and there is a lot of similarity like in echoes there is a line ‘inviting and inciting me’ and in across the universe there is ‘inciting and inviting me’.

I will sometimes watch the documentary of this concert in Pompeii just to recognize a particular instrument. Henry from Portland Orone of the greatest songs of all times, a solid 7/8 time beat throughout the song, sung in an open harmony.I'd like to add my respect and admiration to David for his reticence to ever perform the song without Rick, it never could be the same. Thank you a thousandfold to P F for this contribution to the world of music.
